Ruth Ann’s worldview and career in the non-profit, charitable sector were influenced by her Peace Corps Volunteer service in Morocco. A decade in Memphis with ALSAC, the fundraising arm of the world-renowned St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, was equally formative. She has worked as senior staff and as a volunteer board member for a range of large and small charitable and advocacy organizations. Ruth Ann graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
