Amel Association International announces with deep regret the destruction and damage to several of its centers in Chiyah, Hay El-Sellom, Khiam, Arqoub, and Fardis due to Israeli attacks, which have been serving communities for five decades. Despite these losses, Amel remains committed to rebuilding and continuing its humanitarian mission. As Dr. Kamel Mohanna stated, “Our centers may be damaged, but the values of humanity and justice that guide us are stronger than any aggression.” Amel continues to operate through its mobile clinics, remaining centers, and field roving teams operating in collective shelters. We call for international action to enforce laws such as the Fourth Geneva Convention and International Humanitarian Law, which protect health and humanitarian facilities from attacks.
