Dear Amel Houston community,
The Houston Food Bank is experiencing a food shortage, and is asking for donations of easy-to-eat fresh fruits such as apples, oranges, pears, and bananas along with the items listed in the photo I will send.
Amel Association Houston is part of this call and is gonna be there Saturday morning to assist with all the logistics.
As an Amel community member feel free to run this in your community and ask for assistance. Also please share it with people could benefit from this, all they have to do is show up at the food bank with a Valid ID ( DL, passport…). One ID per family, multiple families allowed to show up in one car.
If you are able to volunteer , please join us on Saturday from 10:30am – 11am and bring any donations you have, at 9219 Katy Freeway.
At 11am, we will deliver the donations to the food bank. You can join us to drop off donations if you’re available, too.
